“A RARE FIND”
Glen Garioch established in 1797, is one of the oldest operating distilleries in Scotland. Small but perfectly formed, sits right in the sheltered heart of Valley of Garioch. Bounded and protected by all sides by rolling hills, blessed with a north east's mild climate, with plenty of sunshine and refreshingly little rain, this richly fertile vale produces the best barley of the country.
Small wonder, that the grandfather of whisky writing, Alfred Barnard, recorded six distilleries. Today only one remains.
With its ancient history, unique location, robust Highland character, flatly refuse for chill-filtering and the limited quantity of production, Glen Garioch 1797 FOUNDERS SERVES, is righteously considered as "a rare find".
