AUCHENTOSHAN distillery established in 1823, rests at the foot of Old Kilpatrick Hills, overlooking the famous river Clyde. From this vantage point, it has witnessed many historic sights. It gazed the first sailing ships with both legal and illegal whisky and the shipbuilding of Queen Mary, to the vast cargoes of spices, tobacco and cotton that transformed Glasgow to a prosperous trading city.
AUCHENTOSHAN produces versatile, smooth and light Single Malt Whiskies. They are the only Scottish Single Malts, whose each drop is a result of triple distillation. This unique process creates their subtle aromas and delicate flavour.
